This is a union job at a modern combined cycle plant, and we're training the next generation of operators. You'll start as a trainee and progress through our operator progression program — moving from control room monitoring to shift operator in 3-5 years. The pay is strong, the benefits are excellent, and once you're a licensed operator, you're set for life. We pay for your state operator license. You just need to be reliable and technically-minded.
Technical aptitude — basic understanding of thermodynamics or electrical systems is helpful. Able to pass a drug screen and background check. Comfortable working rotating shifts. High school diploma required; no college needed.
