Stonebridge is a mid-size general contractor focused on healthcare and educational construction in Florida. We need an estimator to work up from takeoff to full bid packages. No prior estimating experience required — if you have a construction background and can read plans, we'll train you on our process. You'll work under a senior estimator for 12 months, then take ownership of small to mid-size projects independently. Base is $105k with year-end bonus tied to accuracy of estimates. We use On-Screen Takeoff and Sage 300. Training is structured and hands-on. Most of our senior estimators came in without estimating experience — what they had was a willingness to learn and the ability to pay attention to detail.
2+ years in construction (carpenter, PM, project engineer, or field supervisor); Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications; Detail-oriented; Strong math skills; No prior estimating experience required — we train on the software and methodology; Degree in construction management preferred but not required
