GridForce operates three natural gas-fired peaker plants across Alabama. We need operators to manage plant startup/shutdown procedures, monitor SCADA controls, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to grid dispatch signals. No prior power plant experience required — we hire industrial electricians and mechanical engineers and cross-train them on plant operations. Starting pay is $100k base with full benefits and a $5k signing bonus. You'll work a rotating shift (5 on / 4 off / 4 on / 5 off) — the schedule gives you 9-10 days off per month. NERC certification is required but we sponsor and pay for your training. After 2 years in the role, our operators are eligible to move into plant supervisor positions.
