BasinTech provides drilling fluid services to operators in the Permian Basin. We need mud engineers to work alongside drilling crews on active rigs. No prior oilfield experience required — we hire engineering graduates, military personnel, and experienced mechanics and train them on the chemistry and engineering of drilling fluids. You'll monitor mud weight, viscosity, and chemical composition; troubleshoot hole problems; and maintain sample logs. Rotation is 14/14 (14 days on, 14 days off). Per diem is $150/day on top of base. Experienced mud engineers in the Permian are clearing $160k+ in a 180-day rotation. This is a specialized, high-paying niche — if you want in and can pass a 4-week certification program, apply.
