Clearwater runs a 650MW natural gas peaker plant. We are hiring operator trainees — no power plant experience needed. You will go through our 18-month licensing program, working toward your Class II or Class I operator certification. The job involves monitoring control systems, performing equipment rounds, and responding to operational events. Stability is excellent — these plants run for decades. We will put you through NERC certification.
Technical aptitude. Comfortable with control room monitoring. Strong attention to detail. Valid driver's license.
