Own all fleet operations for a 120-truck over-the-road carrier running the I-10 and I-95 corridors. You will manage dispatch, maintenance, driver recruiting, and safety compliance. This is a P&L and people role — you own the fleet, the costs, and the culture. Southern Cross has been in business for 12 years and is expanding into the Southeast retail distribution lane. We need a leader who can keep the fleet running efficiently and retain good drivers in a tight market.
Experience managing a fleet of 50+ trucks. Strong knowledge of FMCSA compliance and DOT regulations. Valid driver license. Comfortable with ELD systems and TMS platforms. No specific trucking background required — logistics management experience in any context works.
