Service and repair propulsion systems, electrical, and plumbing on a fleet of charter yachts and sportfishing vessels ranging from 35-80 feet. Work is split between the dock and our shop in Coconut Grove. Peak season runs October through May — expect 50-60 hour weeks then, slower in summer. Horizon Marine has been in business for 22 years. We will put you through Yamaha, Mercury, and Cummins certifications. Previous marine experience is not required — we have a formal apprenticeship program and will train the right candidate.
Mechanical aptitude and experience with engines, electrical systems, or plumbing in any context. Physical fitness for working on boats and docks. Valid driver license. No boating license required — we cover that.
