SubSurface Consulting performs geotechnical investigations for commercial and infrastructure projects across the Texas Gulf Coast. We're hiring entry-level engineers who want to learn field geotechnical work — no prior geotech experience needed. You'll assist on drilling operations, log soil samples, run lab tests, and prepare foundation recommendation reports. We'll train you on our field procedures and get you up to speed on AASHTO and TxDOT standards. Base is $100k with overtime during field season. Engineers who earn their PE license and move into project management are at $150k+ within five years.
Engineering degree (civil, geological, or related). EIT certification or willingness to sit for the FE exam. Valid driver's license. Comfortable working outdoors in Texas heat.
