Highland Wind Energy operates the largest wind farm cluster in Wyoming. We're hiring turbine technicians — no prior experience needed. You'll climb towers up to 300 feet, perform maintenance on GE and Vestas turbines, and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues. Training program lasts 6 months and includes OSHA safety certifications, tower climb certification, and manufacturer training. Starting pay is $100k with per diem for travel assignments. After 18 months on the job you'll be earning $120k+ and holding certifications worth more than most college degrees.
Comfortable with heights (we test this). Basic mechanical aptitude. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Available for rotation shifts including nights and weekends.
