Operate and monitor a 450MW natural gas power plant in the Phoenix metropolitan area. You will control plant systems via distributed control systems, respond to grid events, and coordinate with the ERCOT grid operator. Shift work (7-on/7-off rotating). Competitive overtime once trained.
Full training program for those without power plant experience. Previous operators have come from refineries, process plants, and the military.
Engineering degree or 2+ years in an industrial operations environment (power plant, refinery, chemical, military operations). Comfortable with process control systems. Willingness to work rotating shifts.
